For sale campaigns, your shop must retain the MUNK click ID and send a server-side conversion notification after a paid order. This allows MUNK to attribute the reported sale to the right campaign.

Important: accurate sales tracking
A click alone does not prove a sale. Your webshop must securely retain the click ID (for example in a first-party cookie or server-side session), attach it to the order and report the conversion only after successful payment. Never expose API secrets in browser JavaScript. Handle refunds, cancellations and suspected fraud according to the agreed process and keep supporting records. An API postback is a report from your webshop; MUNK cannot independently see the underlying payment in your payment provider.

Account creation is free. You set the campaign payout and define the budget upfront. A balance request is not an instant payment: the administration verifies the payment before credit is added. Processing times may vary. For an approved result, the standard split is 75% net commission to the affiliate and 25% MUNK platform fee. The fee is included in the campaign payout you set and is not added on top of the campaign budget. Always review the displayed terms before publishing.

Frequently asked questions
Can MUNK see my sales automatically?
Only if your webshop retains the click ID and reports the conversion through the secure integration after payment. Without implementation, MUNK cannot reliably attribute sales.
Do I need to add code to my product page?
The recommended integration retains the click ID server-side and sends a server-to-server notification from your backend after payment. Follow the API documentation. Never place secret keys in the page.
Is every reported sale paid immediately?
No. Conversions may be reviewed and must meet campaign terms. The administrator may request evidence and approve or reject a conversion.
What if an order is cancelled?
Record cancellations and refunds in your own order system and follow the agreed correction process. Do not report cancelled or unpaid orders as completed sales.
MUNK provides tracking and reporting functionality but does not guarantee sales volume, conversion rate or return on spend. Advertisers remain responsible for accurate product information, legal compliance, order fulfilment, privacy notices and accurate conversion reporting.
